Managing a DNS Zone.
Zones are managed through the zone settings page in portal.
To get there:
- DNS from the main, left-hand navigation.
- Zones from the DNS sub-navigation menu.
- Select the zone from the first column.
- Expand DNS from the main, left-hand navigation.
- Click Zones from the DNS sub-navigation menu.
- Select the zone from the first column.
- Open the Settings tab from the horizontal navigation on the DNS zone page.
General Settings.
| Field | Description |

| Origin | The origin or starting point for the DNS zone. (Cannot be updated) |
| Zone Type | Hosted or non-hosted zone. See the platform page for hosted vs non-hosted zones. |
Users can make changes to the zone type in the general settings and view the origin.
Zone ID.
The ID for the given DNS zone.
Access Controls.
Users can also set access controls policy here.
Delete Form.
Submit the zone origin to delete the zone.
Non Blocking Delete
Deleting the zone will delete the zone and all LINKED records. This will not fail if records are currently in use.
