API Keys
An API key is required in order to utilize the Platform API . API keys are assigned a role when they are created, and respect the capabilities and ACLs of the role when making requests.
API keys are not tied to a hub member, and don't count as members themselves.
Visibility
After creating an API key, it will not be shown again. If an API key is lost, it will need to be recreated.
IP Restrictions
API keys can be limited by IP. When set, only inbound requests coming from an approved IP will be allowed.
Creating an API Key
API keys can be created using the Portal or Platform API.
