Configuring Your Hub

If a hub has not yet been created, it is important to complete that step first. If assistance is needed for the initial configuration, please get in touch with Technical Support.

Prerequisites

There are a few prerequisites that are required for working through the rest of this guide.

  1. Owning a domain - delegating part of a domain to Cycle is necessary to set up a DNS Zone and add records.
  2. Infrastructure access - whether connecting an on-prem rack or starting with one of the supported IaaS providers, access to a method of deploying servers is required to utilize the platform.
  3. Basic knowledge of containers - Cycle is a container platform. For those without experience in containers, this guide can still be followed as the companion repo includes all necessary resources. However, some challenges may arise. If assistance is needed, contact Technical Support for guidance.

Steps To Configure Your Hub

Let's dive into configuring the hub. The primary objectives are:

  1. Integrating With A Provider - This is where the connection between the hub and the cloud provider will be established.
  2. Deploying A Server - After connecting a provider, the next step is to bring some server resources online.
