In the portal, individual records are managed through the zone records list.
To get there:
- Expand DNS from the main, left-hand navigation.
- Click Zones from the DNS sub-navigation menu.
- Select the zone from the first column.
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Cannot be updated. The subdomain or root domain associated with the DNS record. |
State | The current state of the DNS record, showing if it's active. |
Resolve | Hover over this icon to see what the record resolves to. |
Type | The type of DNS record. |
Fields | Details for the record fields. |
Edit | Button to open the record edit modal. |
Changing Record Fields
Pressing the button at the end of the row will open the record edit modal. From here, users can make changes to the record and save.
