Managing a DNS Record

In the portal, individual records are managed through the zone records list.

To get there:

  1. Expand DNS from the main, left-hand navigation.
  2. Click Zones from the DNS sub-navigation menu.
  3. Select the zone from the first column.
FieldDescription
NameThe subdomain or root domain associated with the DNS record.
StateThe current state of the DNS record, showing if it's active.
ResolveHover over this icon to see what the record resolves to.
TypeThe type of DNS record.
FieldsDetails for the record fields.
EditButton to open the record edit modal.

Changing Record Fields

Pressing the button at the end of the row will open the record edit modal. From here, users can make changes to the record and save.
