Managing a DNS Record.

In the portal, individual records are managed through the zone records list.

To get there:

  1. Expand DNS from the main, left-hand navigation.
  2. Click Zones from the DNS sub-navigation menu.
  3. Select the zone from the first column.

Field

Description

Name

Cannot be updated. The subdomain or root domain associated with the DNS record.

State

The current state of the DNS record, showing if it's active.

Resolve

Hover over this icon to see what the record resolves to.

Type

The type of DNS record.

Fields

Details for the record fields.

Edit

Button to open the record edit modal.

Changing Record Fields

Pressing the button at the end of the row will open the record edit modal. From here, users can make changes to the record and save.
