Environment Services Instances.

In the portal, each service container has its own Instances page.

To get there:

  1. Environments from the main, left-hand navigation.
  2. Select the environment from the first column.
  3. Scroll down to the services tile, and click on the manage tab of the service to interact with to open the service modal.
  4. Select the Instances tab from the modal navigation.

Each instance page has the following:

Where the user can select which instance to interact with.

Add Remove Instances

At the bottom of the instance column is a New button, which opens a mini-modal where users can create new instances of the service.

The load balancer and discovery service will scale back down to 1 instance if a restart event happens and high availability has not been enabled.

The VPN and scheduler service do not rely on this high availability setting and leaves it up to the user to define how many instances it should run. Learn more about scaling the scheduler.

Two-Way Console.

The two-way console is available in the top right corner of the page. Interact with the connection details by clicking on the >_ icon.

Server HostnameThe server hostname this instance is deployed on.

Shows direct output to STDOUT.

Attached Volumes.

For stateful services, like the VPN, volume information may be preset.

Instance Telemetry.

Get a quick, high level look at the services current telemetry stream or report.
