Introducing the New Documentation and Learn Center

We're excited to announce two major additions to our website that are set to make your experience using Cycle smoother and more effective: the completely revamped Documentation section, and the new Learn Center.

New Documentation Section - Clearer, More Structured Guidance

Alongside the Learn section, we've also overhauled our Documentation section. This isn't just a simple migration from the old version—it's a significant upgrade to how information is presented. Our new docs are divided into two primary categories: the Platform and the Portal.

  • Platform Documentation: This section explains how the underlying technology works. It dives deep into the architecture and technical details that make our platform operate.
  • Portal Documentation: The portal docs make sure to lean heavier into the "how can I get this done in portal", with lots of screenshots and descriptions of form fields that help reduce guessing.

One of the standout improvements in this new documentation is the deeply enhanced search functionality. Users can now search the entire documentation more granularly, with full indexing of all content. This means whether you're looking for a specific command, configuration setting, or troubleshooting step, the new search engine helps you find exactly what you need quickly and easily. No more digging through large documents; the search results will pinpoint the relevant section so you can get back to work faster.

Use the search shortcut CMD + K (mac) or CTRL + K(windows/linux).

Learn Center - Upskill in DevOps

If you're looking to deepen your knowledge in DevOps, the new learn center is for you. This area has been crafted with developers, system administrators, and engineers in mind. It offers free resources that focus on key areas like containers, networking, and container orchestration.

The best part? You don't even need to create an account. Whether you're exploring containerization or diving into networking essentials, we've made sure that these resources are accessible and easy to navigate, allowing you to quickly gain the skills you need to succeed.

You Spoke We Listened

These new sections are a direct result of feedback from users like you, who wanted more streamlined and actionable resources. We've made sure the content is not only technically thorough but also user-friendly.

If you do find an error or have a question on any part of the new learn center or documentation, don't forget to post those questions in the Cycle Community!
