Announcing the Cycle Community

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Cycle's new Community forum, a space designed for collaboration, education, and deeper technical understanding.

Why a Community Forum

At Cycle, we've always believed in the power of community. The best ideas and solutions often come from collaboration and our new forum aims to unite our users with a place where they can:

  • Ask Questions: Stuck on a problem? Need advice? Post your questions and get answers from both the Cycle team and fellow users.
  • Share Knowledge: Found a novel way to do something on the platform? Share your insights and projects to inspire others.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest changes to the platform, directly from the Cycle changelog.
  • Engage in Discussions: Join in and contribute to conversations about best practices, emerging trends, and industry news. Your voice matters!

This community further extends our growing, vertically aligned ecosystem with a new application that will bridge the gap between documentation, the Slack community, and provide a wealth of silo'd knowledge to be shared back to our users.

A key piece of this alignment will be apparent in the portal where users will get a stream of the highest rated and most recently asked questions.

Key Features

Our web team spared no detail in making this app as user friendly as possible.

Code Highlighting and Images: Each thread has full github flavored markdown support, including code blocks. Users can use markdown to reference existing, web available images, or they can upload images to supplement their posts.

Search Functionality: The first generation of our search allows users to check if a question exists by topic title. This is particularly useful for checking if a question already exists before asking it again.

Categories and Tags: Users can submit new threads for three categories: feedback, questions, and feature requests. These threads can attach a pre-populated list of tags for more granular associations for each thread.

This is just the beginning. Our team has big plans for the community app coming in the next few quarters.

How to Get Started

Excited to get started?

The community forum is specifically designed for Cycle users. Anyone with a Cycle account will be able to use that account to log in, but without a Cycle account users will only be able to read and search.

If you don't already have a Cycle account and want to use the community app, just head over to sign up to get started.

Have a favorite thing you've learned while using the platform, post it as a question so that others can see.

Have a new project in mind but not sure how to best architect the "Cycle way"? Post a question and our team will be there to guide you in the right direction.

The community should be a fun, informative place for all users to come together and start building a more robust exchange of ideas leading the next generation of Cycle users down a path with less information silos and more open exchange.
