Configuring Cherry Servers.

Cherry Servers is a European bare metal and cloud hosting provider offering dedicated bare metal servers and VPS cloud infrastructure across data centers in Lithuania, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Stockholm, as well as global locations in Chicago, Singapore, and Tokyo. Cherry Servers provides a full API, CLI, and infrastructure-as-code tooling for teams that want programmatic control over their infrastructure, backed by 24/7 human support.

As a native integration on Cycle there are just a few steps to integrate your Cycle Hub with Cherry and start using Cherry as a infrastructure provider.

Configuring the Cherry Side

After logging into Cherry you should find yourself on the default teams page within your account or on your most recently accessed team.
From here create a new project for the Cycle integration.  Its also completely fine to create an entirely new team and project to keep Cycle even further in its own space.  Do not try to use Cycle within an existing Cherry project as there is a potential for network collisions if you d0.

Once the new space is created, the next step is to create an API key. On Cherry, there currently isn't a way to scope an API key to a specific team or project as they are on the user. This, however, can be treated as a feature if you decide to create a separate account scoped to just the individual project - very much similar to a service account on other platforms.

To create the API key, log into the desired user and click the avatar of the user in the top right corner of the screen. From here select API Keys. Use the Create button to open the API key create wizard and enter the name. Make sure to copy the value somewhere safe as it will not be shown again after creation.

Configuring the Cycle Side

Log into your portal and click Hub from the main, left-hand, navigation. Select Integrations from the sub-menu and then select Cherry Servers from the list.

From here you will need to open the Add Integration wizard by clicking on Add Integration.
